Even though I was a specialist dentist living in the UK, with a life that looked - from the outside- like I had everything I wanted. I felt stuck, lonely, and overwhelmed.
Turns out "having it all" and feeling okay are not the same thing. Nobody warns you about that part.
The pressure of trying to be the perfect daughter, the perfect wife, the perfect dentist - living a perfect life, left me lonelier by the day, filled with anxiety, and fuelling a self-doubt and self-criticism I couldn't switch off. I felt broken, empty, like I couldn't get anything right - no matter how much I got right.
My body kept the score before my mind caught up. Migraines. De Quervain's tenosynovitis in both wrists - my hands, quite literally, refusing to keep going. The worry got louder. Burnout wasn't a risk anymore; it was inevitable.
But somewhere under the exhaustion, I knew I deserved more from a life and career I'd studied so long and hard for. I knew there was more out there, even if I couldn't picture it yet.
I know now, from my own experience, that cultivating compassion- for myself, first and learning to navigate my own patterns changed everything.
So, being the avid learner I am, I went looking for every tool that could help: training as a Life Coach, Hypnotherapist, Yoga and Qigong teacher, Breathwork Teacher and Integrative Psychotherapist (the full, slightly overachieving list is in the FAQs).
Through years of scientific and spiritual training and self-healing. I've embodied the skills I now share with the people I work with. Scientifically trained, spiritually led - in how I work, and how I live.
I wish I'd had these tools before it got to that point. That gap between looking like you've made it and actually feeling okay - is what I now help other high achievers close, before they hit the wall I hit.
So here's my journey…
My superpower is creating a compassionate space where you can quiet your inner critic, move past perfectionism, and build the steadiness and tools you need to thrive - in your career and your life.
Morning affirmations, yoga, cuddles with my adorable son and dog + sexy husband, coffee + toast, and good skincare.
Creating beautiful smiles,
talking about compassion, making dinner, walking with my dog and son, painting.
Beating around the bush, perfectionism, gossip, complaining and cold food, unless it's ice cream ;).
Straight talk, showing kindness, short emails, focus, and cutting out the 'meh' to make room for the very best.
